VelocityTel is a low-cost replacement for your traditional phone lines. Instead of using the traditional, copper, phone lines, VelocityTel utilizes your broadband Internet connection in order to make calls. This allows you to avoid having to pay outrageous costs and hidden fees to traditional phone companies.
You still get all the same, great features as a traditional phone line, such as Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, and 3-Way Calling (which are included in the price).

With VelocityTel VoIP, all basic calling features are included in whatever plan you choose. Using our online account and feature management tool along with special dialing codes; you'll have complete control over all your calling features.

How does it work?
You will connect your phone to your high-speed Internet connection. This is accomplished by simply plugging in the phone into the digital phone adapter (See below). Your phone will then function normally. You won't notice a difference, so, why pay more? With VelocityTel broadband phone service, talk is cheap.
1. VelocityTel sends your phone call across the Internet.
2. Your calls go through your Cable/DSL modem.
3. Your router then splits your high-speed broadband Internet connection.
4. Your Internet connection should work as it did before you installed the phone adaptor - sending emails and other web data to your personal computer.
5. Your phone calls are sent through your digital phone adaptor to your regular or cordless phone.
Note: You will need a router to use your Internet connection and telephone simultaneously.

What about 911?
Safety and security are our top priorities. We are 100% compliant with all FCC regulations regarding 911. Every user we provision has enhanced 911 to the address they used when they signed up. It is important that you update your 911 address information via our portal if you ever move. If you have questions about it, call us 1-866-705-2881. The 911 service DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. YOU HAVE TO TELL US FIRST!
